DVD drive not working

Hi, i freshly installed Windows XP on my PC. I managed to install all the drivers apart from the DVD drive. When i go to device manager there is a exclamation mark on dvdram gh22ns50. When i go to My Computer the DVD drive is not seen.

I believe that the dvd driver is automatically detected and installed with Windows XP, but somehow it has not happened. What can be the problem?

Please help asap
