Same prob as previous post now expired

I am having the same message and issue as another person who posted here, but the answer has expired.
He stated

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to you computer.
If this it the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check to be sure you have adequate disk space. If a driver is identified in the Stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates. Try changing video adapters.
Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advance Startup Options, and then select safe mode.

I would also like to mention that I'm unable to enter safe mode, for it crashes everytime I attemp this.

Make: hp
Ruing on a xp media center edittion 2005
Processor: Athlon 64 X2 4000+ 2.18 GHz
Memory: 2 Ram
Hard drive: 500 GB SATA 7200 rpm
This is the only information I have.
I do hope its able to assist in some way O_O;
