My computer is Dell desktop running Windows XP Pro SP3. I installed a new display driver and after restart I saw the "Windows XP" logo but nothing after that, NO login screen. Wait for 20 minutes but still nothing on the screen. I think the computer completes its power up but nothing on the screen. I manually power down and then power up, again same exact thing: screen went blank after "Windows XP" logo. I did not see any booting options like: safe mode, Last Known Good, ...
I then put in windows XP CD and boot from CD then after loading, I chose "Repair" and then see DOS Command window.
with C:\Windows". I type dir and see listing of directory. But don't know what to do.
I think if I can some how get the original display driver on the windows XP CD to my computer so that it will use this instead of the one I installed last night.
