Adobe Flash crashing

I'm using XP and Firefox. I've ensured that I'm using the newest version of the browser.

My problem is that when I try to play YouTube videos, everything works fine until I try to engage the Full Screen mode. At that point, I get a message that the Adobe Flash plug-in has crashed, and I'm offered the options of reloading the page or submitting a crash report. Reloading doesn't solve the problem. I've updated Adobe Flash to the latest version which doesn't help.

I'd appreciate any suggestions.
