Very slow boot,have I too many apps

High, I have XP with Firefox, generally 5mbs loading but it is about 5 mins to reach internet. I have checked the startup and scanned everything. Have I got too much protection. As Windows does not support the Firewall, I use a free Private Firewall (which is generally the last to load) I have a paid for MBAM then a free Avast and free SAS. Spyshelter ,Ad Blocker, and Blur.
Should some of this be uninstalled?
