2tb Drive not recognized

well my Vista crapped out, and apparently my restore disks are corrupted so I had to revert back to XP Pro. It has been so long since I have used it but my hard drive with all my data on it is not being recognized. It's there but when I click on it it says its not formatted do I want to format it, any suggestions.

also when I click Internet Explorer it does not seem to go to any web page, is there something I need to do in XP to get internet to work with Vista everything was plug and play.
