Blue SCREEN OF DEATH

My XP computer stopped with a BSOD, but I could still get into Safe mode. After getting there twice and removing an update that I thought caused the problem, I could still not get into normal start of Windows, so I decided to do a repair installation by using my original disc. After going through the procedure, and when windows tried to restart, the BSOD comes back again. I already tried this twice and I don't know what to do anymore. Can you please help???
