MSVCR80.dll is missing

When my computer starts up I get the message "The program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is mission from you computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

Perhaps the program that doesn't start is "APSDaemon.exe - System Error"
I do know that I can not load iTunes so my iPad is not talking nicely with my PC any more.:eek:
