Printing no characters in words

hello to all

i have one computer that just started printing weird, in a Word or Excel document it might miss some letters in a word or print weird numbers in a collum. I have deleted the printer driver and reinstalled it, if i print that same document to a different printer it prints ok. Any help would be great
